I attend a university now, but I've never felt like this is where I truly belong. I feel as though I can achieve more without college, and college is holding me back from my true potential. I come from a middle class single parent home. My mother never finished college, but that's not to say she isn't successful. She was able to raise 3 kids on her own while maintaining a steady income, and putting 2 of the 3 through college. I'm interested in fashion and music, and I want to integrate the 2 together. These two things speak to me, and when I begin writing or coming up with clothing ideas I can go for hours on end. I eventually want to start recording my music and getting my ideas down on clothing. I know I can be very successful with both, but being in college takes time away from me being able to do it.
