Two semesters shy of a degree in journalism, I dropped out of college and began the work I was made for. In the midst of that work, advocating on behalf of and living and working in solidarity with homeless folks, I not only came back to the religion of my upbringing but discerned a calling to the ministry. Knowing much of the margins and how they're created, I felt too conflicted to finish out my degree and attend seminary. Instead, I have decided to begin a very intentional year-long unschooling project in theology. My progress can be followed here and on my website. In addition to my assignments, I will post all university reading lists and syllabi "obtained" for my project for public use.
